महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-11, chapter-11, verse-22

तं विदित्वा गतक्रोधं भीमसेनवधार्दितम् ।
वासुदेवो वरः पुंसामिदं वचनमब्रवीत् ॥२२॥
22. taṁ viditvā gatakrodhaṁ bhīmasenavadhārditam ,
vāsudevo varaḥ puṁsāmidaṁ vacanamabravīt.

vāsudevaḥ varaḥ puṃsām idam vacanam abravīt
22. vāsudevaḥ puṃsām varaḥ tam gatakrodham

22. Having known him to be free from anger and tormented by the imagined slaying of Bhīmasena, Vāsudeva (Kṛṣṇa), the best among men (puruṣa), spoke these words.
