महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-97, verse-2

धर्मं च पितृवंशं च मातृवंशं च मानिनी ।
प्रसमीक्ष्य महाभागा गाङ्गेयं वाक्यमब्रवीत् ॥२॥
2. dharmaṁ ca pitṛvaṁśaṁ ca mātṛvaṁśaṁ ca māninī ,
prasamīkṣya mahābhāgā gāṅgeyaṁ vākyamabravīt.

2. The esteemed and noble lady, having carefully considered both the dharma of her paternal lineage and her maternal lineage, spoke these words to Gaṅgeya (Bhishma).
