गुरुपुत्रस्य पुत्रो वै न तु त्वमसि मे पितुः ।
तस्मान्मान्यश्च पूज्यश्च ममापि त्वं द्विजोत्तम ॥९॥

Devayani said: "You are indeed the son of my guru's son, but you are not my father's son. Therefore, O best of brahmins, you are venerable and worthy of worship even for me."
