महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-5, verse-25

श्रुत्वा त्वत्तो भृगोर्भार्यां हरिष्याम्यहमाश्रमात् ।
जातवेदः पश्यतस्ते वद सत्यां गिरं मम ॥२५॥
25. śrutvā tvatto bhṛgorbhāryāṁ hariṣyāmyahamāśramāt ,
jātavedaḥ paśyataste vada satyāṁ giraṁ mama.
25. śrutvā tvattaḥ bhṛgoḥ bhāryām hariṣyāmi aham
āśramāt jātavedaḥ paśyataḥ te vada satyām giram mama
25. Having heard from you, I will abduct Bhṛgu's wife from the hermitage. O Jātavedas (Agni), with you as witness, declare my words to be true.
