महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-28, verse-5

रजश्चोद्धूय सुमहत्पक्षवातेन खेचरः ।
कृत्वा लोकान्निरालोकांस्तेन देवानवाकिरत् ॥५॥
5. rajaścoddhūya sumahatpakṣavātena khecaraḥ ,
kṛtvā lokānnirālokāṁstena devānavākirat.
5. rajaḥ ca uddhūya sumahat pakṣavātena khecaraḥ
kṛtvā lokān nirālokān tena devān avākirat
5. And having stirred up an immense cloud of dust by the wind of his wings, the sky-dweller (Garuda) made the worlds dark, and with that (dust), he showered the gods.
