महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-28, verse-10

ननाद चोच्चैर्बलवान्महामेघरवः खगः ।
वध्यमानः सुरगणैः सर्वभूतानि भीषयन् ।
उत्पपात महावीर्यः पक्षिराट्परवीरहा ॥१०॥
10. nanāda coccairbalavānmahāmegharavaḥ khagaḥ ,
vadhyamānaḥ suragaṇaiḥ sarvabhūtāni bhīṣayan ,
utpapāta mahāvīryaḥ pakṣirāṭparavīrahā.
10. nanāda ca uccaiḥ balavān mahāmegharavaḥ
khagaḥ vadhyamānaḥ suragaṇaiḥ
sarvabhūtāni bhīṣayan utpapāta
mahāvīryaḥ pakṣirāṭ paravīrahā
10. And that mighty bird, whose roar was like that of a great cloud, cried out loudly. Being struck by the hosts of gods, terrifying all beings, the immensely powerful king of birds, the slayer of enemy heroes, flew upwards.
