महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-28, verse-1

सूत उवाच ।
ततस्तस्मिन्द्विजश्रेष्ठ समुदीर्णे तथाविधे ।
गरुत्मान्पक्षिराट्तूर्णं संप्राप्तो विबुधान्प्रति ॥१॥
1. sūta uvāca ,
tatastasmindvijaśreṣṭha samudīrṇe tathāvidhe ,
garutmānpakṣirāṭtūrṇaṁ saṁprāpto vibudhānprati.
1. sūtaḥ uvāca tataḥ tasmin dvijaśreṣṭha samudīrṇe tathāvidhe
garutmān pakṣirāṭ tūrṇam samprāptaḥ vibudhān prati
1. Suta said: Then, O best among the twice-born, when such a situation had arisen, Garutman, the king of birds, quickly approached the gods.
