महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-223, verse-18

इदं वै सद्म तिग्मांशो वरुणस्य परायणम् ।
शिवस्त्राता भवास्माकं मास्मानद्य विनाशय ॥१८॥
18. idaṁ vai sadma tigmāṁśo varuṇasya parāyaṇam ,
śivastrātā bhavāsmākaṁ māsmānadya vināśaya.

śivaḥ trātā bhava asmākam mā asmān adya vināśaya
18. O sharp-rayed one (tigmāṃśu), this indeed is the abode and ultimate refuge of Varuṇa. Be our benevolent protector; do not destroy us today.
