सूर्यो भूत्वा रश्मिभिर्जातवेदो भूमेरम्भो भूमिजातान्रसांश्च ।
विश्वानादाय पुनरुत्सर्गकाले सृष्ट्वा वृष्ट्या भावयसीह शुक्र ॥१६॥

16.
Droṇa said: O Shukra, you, who embody the all-knowing power (jātavedas), assume the form of the sun and draw up with your rays the water from the earth and the essences of all things born from the earth. Then, at the time of re-emission, you create and sustain them here with rain.
