महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-202, verse-8

अन्तर्भूमिगतान्नागाञ्जित्वा तौ च महासुरौ ।
समुद्रवासिनः सर्वान्म्लेच्छजातीन्विजिग्यतुः ॥८॥
8. antarbhūmigatānnāgāñjitvā tau ca mahāsurau ,
samudravāsinaḥ sarvānmlecchajātīnvijigyatuḥ.
8. antar bhūmigatān nāgān jitvā tau ca mahāsurau
samudravāsinaḥ sarvān mlecchajātīn vijigyatuḥ
8. And those two great demons, having conquered the subterranean Nāgas, also subdued all the Mleccha tribes dwelling in the ocean.
