महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-202, verse-12

एवं सर्वान्समादिश्य पूर्वतीरे महोदधेः ।
क्रूरां मतिं समास्थाय जग्मतुः सर्वतोमुखम् ॥१२॥
12. evaṁ sarvānsamādiśya pūrvatīre mahodadheḥ ,
krūrāṁ matiṁ samāsthāya jagmatuḥ sarvatomukham.

12. Having thus instructed all (their followers) on the eastern shore of the great ocean, the two (demons), adopting a cruel resolve, departed in all directions.
