महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-151, verse-8

ततः स भैरवं कृत्वा समुद्यम्य करावुभौ ।
अभ्यद्रवद्भीमसेनं जिघांसुः पुरुषादकः ॥८॥
8. tataḥ sa bhairavaṁ kṛtvā samudyamya karāvubhau ,
abhyadravadbhīmasenaṁ jighāṁsuḥ puruṣādakaḥ.

abhyadravat bhīmasenam jighāṃsuḥ puruṣādakaḥ
8. Then he, the man-eater, having made a frightful roar and lifted both his hands, rushed towards Bhimasena, desirous of killing him.
