महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-147, verse-9

पित्रा त्यक्ता तथा मात्रा भ्रात्रा चाहमसंशयम् ।
दुःखाद्दुःखतरं प्राप्य म्रियेयमतथोचिता ॥९॥
9. pitrā tyaktā tathā mātrā bhrātrā cāhamasaṁśayam ,
duḥkhādduḥkhataraṁ prāpya mriyeyamatathocitā.
9. pitrā tyaktā tathā mātrā bhrātrā ca aham asaṃśayam
duḥkhāt duḥkhataram prāpya mriyeyam atathocitā
9. Abandoned by my father, mother, and brother, I would undoubtedly experience misery greater than any misery I've known, and thus, though unaccustomed to such a fate, I would die.
