महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-121, verse-5

तस्मिन्समभवद्द्रोणः कलशे तस्य धीमतः ।
अध्यगीष्ट स वेदांश्च वेदाङ्गानि च सर्वशः ॥५॥
5. tasminsamabhavaddroṇaḥ kalaśe tasya dhīmataḥ ,
adhyagīṣṭa sa vedāṁśca vedāṅgāni ca sarvaśaḥ.

5. From that pot (kalaśa), Drona was born to that intelligent (dhīmat) sage. He (Drona) then completely mastered the Vedas and all the Vedangas.
