महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-121, verse-19

तथैवेयं धरा देवी सागरान्ता सपत्तना ।
कश्यपाय मया दत्ता कृत्स्ना नगरमालिनी ॥१९॥
19. tathaiveyaṁ dharā devī sāgarāntā sapattanā ,
kaśyapāya mayā dattā kṛtsnā nagaramālinī.

19. Likewise, this goddess Earth (dharā devī), which extends to the oceans and possesses cities, the entire land, garlanded with cities, has been given by me to Kashyapa.
