दुर्गा-सप्तशती       durgā-saptaśatī - chapter-3, verse-8

चिक्षेप च ततस्तत्तु भद्रकाल्यां महासुरः ।
जाज्वल्यमानं तेजोभी रविबिम्बमिवाम्बरात् ॥८॥
8. cikṣepa ca tatastattu bhadrakālyāṃ mahāsuraḥ .
jājvalyamānaṃ tejobhī ravibimbamivāmbarāt.
8. cikṣepa ca tataḥ tat tu bhadra-kālyām mahā-asuraḥ
jā-jvalyamānam tejobhiḥ ravi-bimbam iva ambarāt
8. And then, the great demon hurled that (spear) at Bhadrakālī, shining intensely with its brilliance, like the sun's orb (ravi-bimba) falling from the sky.
