जगतां तत्र लक्षाणि नाशोत्पातशतानि च ।
मया दृष्टानि रूढानि कदलीदलपीठवत् ॥ २९ ॥

29. There, I have witnessed millions (lakṣa) of worlds (jagat) and hundreds of cycles of destruction and creation (utpāta) arise and pass, much like the successive leaves of a banana plant.
