सूक्ष्मा मध्या तथा स्थूला चेति सा कल्प्यते त्रिधा ।
पश्चान्मनस्तया तेन ज्ञातैव वपुषा पुनः ॥ ४ ॥

And that (subtle creative power, kalā) is thus conceived in three ways: subtle, middle, and gross. Afterwards, through its transformation into mind (manas), it is then recognized again through a physical body.
