योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-4, chapter-41, verse-26

अस्वरूपस्य तस्यापि सा ह्यविद्यैव विद्यते ।
विकारितादयो दोषा न केचन महात्मनि ॥ २६ ॥
asvarūpasya tasyāpi sā hyavidyaiva vidyate ,
vikāritādayo doṣā na kecana mahātmani 26
26. asvarūpasya tasya api sā hi avidyā eva vidyate
vikāritādayaḥ doṣāḥ na kecana mahātmani
26. asvarūpasya tasya api sā hi avidyā eva vidyate
mahātmani kecana vikāritādayaḥ doṣāḥ na
26. Even for that [self] which appears without its true nature, it is indeed only ignorance (avidyā) that exists. No defects like mutability are ever present in the great self (ātman).
