योगवासिष्ठः yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-105, verse-15

अनभ्यस्तविवेकं हि देशकालवशानुगम् ।
मन्त्रौषधिवशं याति मनो नोदारवृत्तिमत् ॥ १५ ॥

15. Indeed, a mind (manas) that is not accustomed to discrimination (viveka), that follows the dictates of place and time, and is not endowed with a noble disposition, falls under the sway of charms and medicines.

15. רק חשיבה הנעדרת אבחנה מפותחת והכפופה לנסיבות הזמן והמקום נופלת תחת השפעתם של לחשים וצמחי קסם, אך לא מחשבה בעלת אופי אציל.
