वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-2, verse-24

तं ब्रुवाणं तु तद्वाक्यं राजर्षिं धार्मिकं तदा ।
जिघृक्षुरब्रवीत् कन्यां बाढमित्येव स द्विजः ॥२४॥
24. taṃ bruvāṇaṃ tu tadvākyaṃ rājarṣiṃ dhārmikaṃ tadā ,
jighṛkṣurabravīt kanyāṃ bāḍhamityeva sa dvijaḥ.
24. tam bruvāṇam tu tat vākyam rājarṣim dhārmikam tadā
jighṛkṣuḥ abravīt kanyām bāḍham iti eva saḥ dvijaḥ
24. tadā dhārmikam rājarṣim tat vākyam bruvāṇam tam tu
saḥ dvijaḥ kanyām jighṛkṣuḥ bāḍham iti eva abravīt
24. Then, to that righteous royal sage who was speaking that statement, the Brahmin, desiring to take the maiden, said, 'Indeed, very well.'
