वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-2, verse-21

स तु विज्ञाय तं शापं महर्षेर्भावितात्मनः ।
गृहीत्वा तनयां गत्वा पुलस्त्यमिदमब्रवीत् ॥२१॥
21. sa tu vijñāya taṃ śāpaṃ maharṣerbhāvitātmanaḥ ,
gṛhītvā tanayāṃ gatvā pulastyamidamabravīt.
21. saḥ tu vijñāya tam śāpam maharṣeḥ bhāvitātmanaḥ
gṛhītvā tanayām gatvā pulastyam idam abravīt
21. Then, having understood that curse of the great sage who possessed a cultivated inner self (ātman), he took his daughter, went, and spoke this to Pulastya.
