वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-100, verse-24

देवानां यस्य या योनिर्वानरा ऋष्कराक्षसाः ।
तामेव विविशुः सर्वे देहान्निक्षिप्य चाम्भसि ॥२४॥
24. devānāṃ yasya yā yonirvānarā ṛṣkarākṣasāḥ ,
tāmeva viviśuḥ sarve dehānnikṣipya cāmbhasi.

tām eva viviśuḥ sarve dehān nikṣipya ca ambhasi
24. sarve devānām yasya yā yoniḥ vānarāḥ ṛṣkararākṣasāḥ

24. All of them, having cast off their (divine) bodies into the water, entered those very species of monkeys, bears, and rākṣasas, which were the lineages (yoni) of the gods.
