वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-100, verse-17

यच्च तिर्यग्गतं किं चिद् राममेवानुचिन्तयत् ।
प्राणांस्त्यक्ष्यति भक्त्या वै संताने तु निवत्स्यति ।
सर्वैरेव गुणैर्युक्ते ब्रह्मलोकादनन्तरे ॥१७॥
17. yacca tiryaggataṃ kiṃ cid rāmamevānucintayat ,
prāṇāṃstyakṣyati bhaktyā vai saṃtāne tu nivatsyati ,
sarvaireva guṇairyukte brahmalokādanantare.

anucintayat prāṇān tyakṣyati bhaktyā
vai saṃtāne tu nivatsyati sarvaiḥ

17. And whatever creature, even if born as an animal, meditates solely on Rāma, will certainly give up its life with devotion (bhakti) and reside in a state of continuity (santāna), endowed with all qualities, in a realm immediately succeeding the world of (brahman).
