वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-6, chapter-12, verse-9

सुदुष्टो वाप्यदुष्टो वा किमेष रजनीचरः ।
सूक्ष्ममप्यहितं कर्तुं ममाशक्तः कथं चन ॥९॥
9. suduṣṭo vāpyaduṣṭo vā kimeṣa rajanīcaraḥ ,
sūkṣmamapyahitaṃ kartuṃ mamāśaktaḥ kathaṃ cana.
9. suduṣṭaḥ vā api aduṣṭaḥ vā kim eṣaḥ rajānīcaraḥ
sūkṣmam api ahitam kartum mama aśaktaḥ kathaṃ cana
9. Whether this night-wanderer (rākṣasa) is very wicked or not wicked, he is certainly incapable of inflicting even the slightest harm upon me.
