Words meanings and morphology

सः (saḥ) - that (Hanumān) (he, that)
(pronoun)
Nominative, masculine, singular of tad
tad - that, he, she, it
अपश्यम् (apaśyam) - saw (Sītā) (saw, observed, beheld)
(verb)
3rd person , singular, active, imperfect (laṅ) of paś
root 'dṛś' (P.1) takes 'paś' as substitute in present and imperative forms
Root: dṛś (class 1)
Note: Here in the context, it's a noun form derived from 'paśyan' (present participle) which means 'seeing'. The form 'apaśyam' as a verb is usually 1st person singular imperfect. But here it appears to be a misreading of 'apaśyat' or a participle being treated as a finite verb. Given the next word 'paśyan', it's highly likely 'apaśyam' is a typo or a variant of 'apaśyat' (he saw). If it were 'apaśyan' (present participle nominative singular), the meter would be off. For now, assuming it functions as 'he saw'.
