वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-4, chapter-34, verse-9

देहधर्मं गतस्यास्य परिश्रान्तस्य लक्ष्मण ।
अवितृप्तस्य कामेषु रामः क्षन्तुमिहार्हति ॥९॥
9. dehadharmaṃ gatasyāsya pariśrāntasya lakṣmaṇa ,
avitṛptasya kāmeṣu rāmaḥ kṣantumihārhati.

9. O Lakṣmaṇa, Rāma ought to forgive him (Viśvāmitra) in this matter, who has succumbed to bodily nature (dharma), is exhausted, and whose desires (kāma) are still unsatiated.
