वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-4, chapter-15, verse-7

साधु क्रोधमिमं वीर नदी वेगमिवागतम् ।
शयनादुत्थितः काल्यं त्यज भुक्तामिव स्रजम् ॥७॥
7. sādhu krodhamimaṃ vīra nadī vegamivāgatam ,
śayanādutthitaḥ kālyaṃ tyaja bhuktāmiva srajam.
7. sādhu krodham imam vīra nadī vegam iva āgatam
śayanāt utthitaḥ kālyam tyaja bhuktām iva srajam
7. vīra sādhu nadī vegam iva āgatam imam krodham
śayanāt utthitaḥ kālyam bhuktām srajam iva tyaja
7. O hero, please abandon this anger, which has come upon you like a river's current. Having risen in the morning, cast it off as one discards a worn-out garland.
