स्नेहाच्च बहुमानाच्च स्मारये त्वां न शिक्षये ।
न कथं चन सा कार्या हृहीतधनुषा त्वया ॥२०॥

20. snehācca bahumānācca smāraye tvāṃ na śikṣaye ,
na kathaṃ cana sā kāryā hṛhītadhanuṣā tvayā.

20. Out of affection and great respect, I am merely reminding you, not instructing you. By no means should that (vow to kill the Rākṣasas) be undertaken by you, who have taken up your bow.
