वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-3, chapter-63, verse-25

इत्येवमुक्त्वा बहुशो राघवः सहलक्ष्मणः ।
जटायुषं च पस्पर्श पितृस्नेहं निदर्शयन् ॥२५॥
25. ityevamuktvā bahuśo rāghavaḥ sahalakṣmaṇaḥ ,
jaṭāyuṣaṃ ca pasparśa pitṛsnehaṃ nidarśayan.

jaṭāyuṣam ca pasparśa pitṛsneham nidarśayan

25. Having thus spoken repeatedly, Rama, together with Lakshmana, touched Jatayu, showing fatherly affection.
