वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-3, chapter-63, verse-18

परिश्रान्तस्य मे पक्षौ छित्त्वा खड्गेन रावणः ।
सीतामादाय वैदेहीमुत्पपात विहायसं ।
रक्षसा निहतं पूर्व्म न मां हन्तुं त्वमर्हसि ॥१८॥
18. pariśrāntasya me pakṣau chittvā khaḍgena rāvaṇaḥ ,
sītāmādāya vaidehīmutpapāta vihāyasaṃ ,
rakṣasā nihataṃ pūrvma na māṃ hantuṃ tvamarhasi.

18. Rāvaṇa, having cut off my two wings with a sword while I was exhausted, took Sītā, the princess of Videha, and flew up into the sky. You should not kill me, who was already slain by a demon before.
