22.
Then, Śūrpaṇakhā, who had been disfigured by the great-souled (mahātman) one, and who, once fearless in her wanderings, was now bewildered by fear and delusion, spoke extremely dreadful words to him (Rāvaṇa), who had blazing and wide eyes, after revealing her (mutilated) condition.
