वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-3, chapter-14, verse-22

स गत्वा लक्ष्मणः श्रीमान्नदीं गोदावरीं तदा ।
स्नात्वा पद्मानि चादाय सफलः पुनरागतः ॥२२॥
22. sa gatvā lakṣmaṇaḥ śrīmānnadīṃ godāvarīṃ tadā ,
snātvā padmāni cādāya saphalaḥ punarāgataḥ.
22. saḥ gatvā lakṣmaṇaḥ śrīmān nadīm godāvarīm tadā
snātvā padmāni ca ādāya saphalaḥ punaḥ āgataḥ
22. tada saḥ śrīmān lakṣmaṇaḥ godāvarīm nadīm gatvā

22. Then, the glorious Lakshmana went to the Godavari River, bathed, collected lotus flowers, and returned with fruit.
