वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-82, verse-25

वसन्तं भ्रातुरर्थाय शत्रुघ्नो मानुवत्स्यति ।
लक्ष्मणेन सह त्वार्यो अयोध्यां पालयिष्यति ॥२५॥
25. vasantaṃ bhrāturarthāya śatrughno mānuvatsyati ,
lakṣmaṇena saha tvāryo ayodhyāṃ pālayiṣyati.
25. vasantam bhrātuḥ arthāya śatrughnaḥ mā anuvatsyati
| lakṣmaṇena saha tu āryaḥ ayodhyām pālayiṣyati
25. śatrughnaḥ bhrātuḥ arthāya vasantam mā anuvatsyati
tu āryaḥ lakṣmaṇena saha ayodhyām pālayiṣyati
25. Shatrughna will reside with me, me dwelling in the forest for the sake of our brother (Rama). But the noble one (Rama), along with Lakshmana, will govern Ayodhya.
