वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-82, verse-2

अब्रवीज्जननीः सर्वा इह तेन महात्मना ।
शर्वरी शयिता भूमाविदमस्य विमर्दितम् ॥२॥
2. abravījjananīḥ sarvā iha tena mahātmanā ,
śarvarī śayitā bhūmāvidamasya vimarditam.

2. (saḥ) sarvāḥ jananīḥ abravīt: "iha tena mahātmanā

2. He then said to all the mothers: 'Here, that great soul (ātman) spent the night sleeping on the ground, and this spot was pressed down by him.'
