वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-1, chapter-8, verse-20

वक्ष्यन्ति चिन्तयित्वा ते तस्योपायांश्च तान् क्षमान् ।
आनेष्यामो वयं विप्रं न च दोषो भविष्यति ॥२०॥
20. vakṣyanti cintayitvā te tasyopāyāṃśca tān kṣamān ,
āneṣyāmo vayaṃ vipraṃ na ca doṣo bhaviṣyati.
20. vakṣyanti cintayitvā te tasya upāyān ca tān kṣamān
āneṣyāmaḥ vayam vipram na ca doṣaḥ bhaviṣyati
20. te cintayitvā tasya tān ca kṣamān upāyān vakṣyanti
vayam vipram āneṣyāmaḥ ca doṣaḥ na bhaviṣyati
20. Having considered the matter, they will then propose suitable methods to the king and say: 'We ourselves will bring the sage, and there will be no harm done.'
