वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-1, chapter-75, verse-6

ब्राह्मणो ऽसीति पूज्यो मे विश्वामित्रकृतेन च ।
तस्माच्छक्तो न ते राम मोक्तुं प्राणहरं शरम् ॥६॥
6. brāhmaṇo'sīti pūjyo me viśvāmitrakṛtena ca ,
tasmācchakto na te rāma moktuṃ prāṇaharaṃ śaram.
6. brāhmaṇaḥ asi iti pūjyaḥ me viśvāmitrakṛtena ca
tasmāt śaktaḥ na te rāma moktum prāṇaharam śaram
6. tvam brāhmaṇaḥ asi iti (kāraṇāt)
