वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-1, chapter-57, verse-17

सशरीरो दिवं यायामिति मे सौम्यदर्शनम् ।
मया चेष्टं क्रतुशतं तच्च नावाप्यते फलम् ॥१७॥
17. saśarīro divaṃ yāyāmiti me saumyadarśanam ,
mayā ceṣṭaṃ kratuśataṃ tacca nāvāpyate phalam.

ca iṣṭam kratuśatam tat ca na avāpyate phalam

17. It is my earnest desire that I may ascend to heaven in this physical body. Even though a hundred Vedic rituals (yajña) have been performed by me, that desired fruit (phalam) has not been attained.
