वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-1, chapter-57, verse-13

कारुण्यात् स महातेजा वाक्यं परम धार्मिकः ।
इदं जगाद भद्रं ते राजानं घोरदर्शनम् ॥१३॥
13. kāruṇyāt sa mahātejā vākyaṃ parama dhārmikaḥ ,
idaṃ jagāda bhadraṃ te rājānaṃ ghoradarśanam.
13. kāruṇyāt saḥ mahātejāḥ vākyam parama dhārmikaḥ
idam jagāda bhadram te rājānam ghoradarśanam
13. saḥ mahātejāḥ parama dhārmikaḥ kāruṇyāt idam vākyam ghoradarśanam rājānam jagāda.

13. Out of compassion, that greatly effulgent and supremely righteous (dharma) sage spoke these words to the king, who had a terrifying appearance: 'May well-being be yours!'
