मा रुदो मा रुदश्चेति गर्भं शक्रो ऽभ्यभाषत ।
बिभेद च महातेजा रुदन्तमपि वासवः ॥१९॥

19. "Do not cry, do not cry!" — thus Śakra (Indra) addressed the fetus. Yet, the greatly powerful Vāsava (Indra) continued to split it, even as it cried.
