कथं गङ्गावतरणं कथं तेषां जलक्रिया ।
तारयेयं कथं चैतानिति चिन्ता परो ऽभवत् ॥६॥

6. kathaṃ gaṅgāvataraṇaṃ kathaṃ teṣāṃ jalakriyā ,
tārayeyaṃ kathaṃ caitāniti cintā paro'bhavat.

6. "How will the descent of the Gaṅgā happen? How will the water rituals (jalakriyā) for them (my ancestors) be performed? How can I deliver these (ancestors)?" Thus, he became completely absorbed in this thought.
