मा शुचः पुरुषव्याघ्र वधो ऽयं लोकसंमतः ॥१७॥

And that mighty Vainateya (Garuda) spoke this statement to him: "Do not grieve, O tiger among men (puruṣa)! This killing is approved by the world."
