वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-1, chapter-30, verse-15

प्रदक्षिणं ततः कृत्वा सिद्धाश्रममनुत्तमम् ।
उत्तरां दिशमुद्दिश्य प्रस्थातुमुपचक्रमे ॥१५॥
15. pradakṣiṇaṃ tataḥ kṛtvā siddhāśramamanuttamam ,
uttarāṃ diśamuddiśya prasthātumupacakrame.

15. Then, having circumambulated the excellent Siddha-āśrama clockwise, he (the sage) began to set out, heading towards the northern direction.
