तुङ्गराशिं समाश्रित्य कर्मेशे गुरुसंयुते ।
भाग्येशे कर्मराशिस्थे मानैश्वर्यप्रतापवान् ॥८॥

8. tuṅgarāśiṃ samāśritya karmeśe gurusaṃyute .
bhāgyeśe karmarāśisthe mānaiśvaryapratāpavān.

bhāgyeśe karmarāśisthe mānāiśvaryapratāpavān

8. If the lord of the 10th house occupies its exaltation sign (tuṅgarāśi) and is conjoined with Jupiter (guru), and simultaneously the lord of the 9th house (bhāgya bhava) is situated in the 10th house (karma rāśi), the person becomes endowed with honor, prosperity, and great influence.
