तापसांश्च यथान्यायं तैश्चाशीर्भिरभिष्टुतः ।
दृष्ट्वा च तापसान्सप्त नागैर्दष्टान्मृतान्भुवि ॥३॥

3. tāpasāṃśca yathānyāyaṃ taiścāśīrbhirabhiṣṭutaḥ .
dṛṣṭvā ca tāpasānsapta nāgairdaṣṭānmṛtānbhuvi.

tāpasān ca yathānyāyam taiḥ ca āśīrbhiḥ abhiṣṭutaḥ

He also properly honored the other ascetics and was blessed by them. And when he saw the seven ascetics bitten by serpents and lying dead on the ground...
