Having honored Kaśyapa, the foremost among sages, as his preceptor, he performed the Vājapeya (Vedic ritual) (yajña) and a hundred Aśvamedha (Vedic ritual) (yajña). And for the ritual fees, he indeed gave the earth along with its oceans.
