महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-48, verse-4

तान्क्रतून्भरतश्रेष्ठ शतकृत्वो महाद्युतिः ।
पूरयामास विधिवत्ततः ख्यातः शतक्रतुः ॥४॥
4. tānkratūnbharataśreṣṭha śatakṛtvo mahādyutiḥ ,
pūrayāmāsa vidhivattataḥ khyātaḥ śatakratuḥ.
4. tān kratūn bharataśreṣṭha śatakratuḥ mahādyutiḥ
pūrayāmāsa vidhivat tataḥ khyātaḥ śatakratuḥ
4. bharataśreṣṭha mahādyutiḥ śatakratuḥ tān kratūn
vidhivat pūrayāmāsa tataḥ khyātaḥ śatakratuḥ
4. O best of Bharatas, that greatly effulgent one, Śatakratu, completed those sacrifices (kratu) a hundred times, exactly as prescribed. Therefore, he became known as Śatakratu.
