महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-62, verse-6

दुर्योधनं चाविधेयं बध्नीतेति पुरा यदि ।
कुरूनचोदयिष्यस्त्वं न त्वां व्यसनमाव्रजेत् ॥६॥
6. duryodhanaṁ cāvidheyaṁ badhnīteti purā yadi ,
kurūnacodayiṣyastvaṁ na tvāṁ vyasanamāvrajet.
6. duryodhanaṃ ca avidheyaṃ badhnīta iti purā yadi
kurūn acodayiṣyaḥ tvam na tvām vyasanam āvrajet
6. yadi tvaṃ purā kurūn duryodhanaṃ ca avidheyaṃ badhnīta iti acodayiṣyaḥ,
na vyasanam tvām āvrajet
6. If you had previously instructed the Kurus to bind this unruly Duryodhana, misfortune would not have befallen you.
