महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-62, verse-3

अनतिक्रमणीयोऽयं कृतान्तस्याद्भुतो विधिः ।
मा शुचो भरतश्रेष्ठ दिष्टमेतत्पुरातनम् ॥३॥
3. anatikramaṇīyo'yaṁ kṛtāntasyādbhuto vidhiḥ ,
mā śuco bharataśreṣṭha diṣṭametatpurātanam.
3. anatikramaṇīyaḥ ayam kṛtāntasya adbhutaḥ vidhiḥ
mā śucaḥ bharataśreṣṭha diṣṭam etat purātanam
3. bharataśreṣṭha ayam kṛtāntasya adbhutaḥ vidhiḥ
anatikramaṇīyaḥ etat purātanam diṣṭam mā śucaḥ
3. O best of the Bharatas (bharataśreṣṭha), this extraordinary decree of fate (kṛtānta) is insurmountable. Do not grieve, for this is an ancient destiny.
