महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-72, verse-5

म्रियेतापि न भज्येत नैव जह्यात्स्वकं मतम् ।
तादृशेन शमं कृष्ण मन्ये परमदुष्करम् ॥५॥
5. mriyetāpi na bhajyeta naiva jahyātsvakaṁ matam ,
tādṛśena śamaṁ kṛṣṇa manye paramaduṣkaram.
5. mriyeta api na bhajyeta na eva jahyāt svakam
matam tādṛśena śamam kṛṣṇa manye paramaduṣkaram
5. Even if he were to die, he would not be broken, nor would he ever abandon his own conviction. For such a person, O Kṛṣṇa, I believe it is extremely difficult to achieve tranquility (śama).
